It is with great pleasure to announce that Valerie Freeman has sold her 40-year-old staffing/recruiting company, Imprimis, to Julie Ayala Stephens, CSP, who has served as the leader and Vice President of Imprimis for the last 6 years. Julie has over 20 years of experience in the staffing industry where she has been involved in all areas of recruiting and sales. Her career includes serving as a Sr. Operations Manager, Director of Sales, Division Director, Area Director, and finally as VP at Imprimis. In the past she has run operations in Texas and New Mexico, been involved in the startup of a finance and accounting staffing and direct hire division, a clerical division and an executive recruiting division. She was also the on-site staffing performance partnership manager who successfully ran a $25 million national account within the banking/mortgage industry. Julie indicated her interest in becoming an entrepreneur, and Valerie, after a great 40-year run, decided to give her the opportunity due to Julie’s demonstrated outstanding capabilities in running Imprimis.
Julie has applied for her WBE, MBE, HUB certifications and will continue her involvement in the community through memberships in DallasHR, APA and local chambers.
Growing up in Waco, TX, Julie was encouraged by her mother to pursue her passion and purpose of helping others in the healthcare field of physical therapy. However, after moving to Dallas to attend school, life redirected Julie into a similar but nonetheless rewarding career where she continued her passion and purpose in helping others in the staffing/recruiting industry. Julie hopes to continue to grow Imprimis with outstanding service and support for candidates and clients aided by implementing new digital technology and processes which have already helped the organization increase efficiency and enhance quality and competitiveness.
Julie resides in Dallas with husband James, an IT professional and son, Caleb Ray.
